We conduct an in-depth assessment of your current pronunciation patterns and determine all of the specific issues that you face.
We contrast the key differences between the pronunciation patterns of your first (or dominant) language and those of English and then explain how the former interferes with your clear pronunciation of both segmental1 and suprasegmental2 elements of English.

Based on your particular pronunciation challenges, we create a fully customized course to enable you to develop natural English pronunciation.
We chart a measurable path to improvement with specific weekly and/or monthly pronunciation modification targets that you will meet or exceed.
One of the company’s two partners will personally train you by using a number of specialized exercises and activities that modify your pronunciation and enable you to sound more like a native English speaker.
You are not only given customized exercises and activities to maintain the gains you have made throughout the program, but will also receive follow-up ‘mini-sessions4’ to make sure that you continue to sound like a native speaker.
4 A package of 15 – 30-minute ‘check-in’ sessions to make sure that you are continuing to speak clearly and with less accented English.
Pronunciation Skills Focus Area: Consonant Sounds
Through conversation with one of our pronunciation specialists and a speech sample that you provide, we will determine your weaknesses with the pronunciation of English consonant and vowel sounds.
We will conduct a detailed ‘contrastive analysis’ (see above) and then share with you, the dissimilarities between your individual speech sounds (‘segmentals’) and those of standard North American English.
We will provide you with diagrams and/or video to help you visualize the correct mouth positioning to voice these segmentals accurately and make sure that you understand the mechanics of pronunciation and the necessary changes that you must make in using your articulatory organs and mouth position to correctly pronounce these speech sounds.
Working closely with one of our pronunciation specialists, you will be provided with guidance, exercises, and activities to help you change the way you articulate all of the challenging segmentals until you are able to speak with a clear North American English accent.
Once you have mastered these segmentals, you will be provided a follow-up program and a schedule for periodic one-to-one consultations to make sure that you continue to speak clearly and accurately.

After attending a one-hour workshop with eighty other university students and then receiving three 20-minute one-to-one pronunciation training sessions with a Speech Clarity pronunciation expert, this student rerecorded the passage and made only two errors.
